The Children’s Equity Fund (CEF) works to advance policy change and advocate for an equitable society where all children and families thrive. Established in 2019, CEF funds organizations and collaboratives that combat the racial and economic inequities impacting Black and brown communities. By working alongside elected officials, key stakeholders, and partner organizations, CEF targets systemic societal change through five priority areas that impact early childhood outcomes – early learning, health, mental health, family economic security, and housing stability. CEF leads with the guiding principle that effective, sustained policy focused on children and families occurs through broad-based support from people with diverse perspectives and political affiliations.
